Allegation letter regarding alleged resettlement programs implemented in the Tibetan areas of the People’s Republic of China. The Special Rapporteur joined with the Special Rapporteur on adequate housing as a component of the right to an adequate standard of living and the Special Rapporteur on the right to food to bring to the Government’s attention information received regarding the alleged severe impact of resettlement programs and forced evictions that are currently being implemented in Tibetan areas of the People’s Republic of China (PRC).
