The Tibetan Centre for Human Rights and Democracy (TCHRD) presents a promo video on the ‘’Youth Speak: Tibetan Election 2016’ campaign. The campaign is aimed at informing and involving the exile Tibetan youth voters in roundtable discussions, informal interactions, and short one-on-one interviews on the 2016 election to the post of Sikyong and the exile Tibetan parliament. Tibetan youth form an important part of the exile Tibetan electorate.
TCHRD’s senior research officer Mr. Tenzin Nyinjey and Information Officer Ms. Sonam Dolkar, along with series director, editor and cameraman Tenzin Kalden will meet and hold free and open discussions with a number of Tibetan university students regarding the 2016 election for ‘Sikyong’ Tibetan political leader and the exile Tibetan parliament. TCHRD team will visit four different places in India: Dharamsala, Delhi, Bangalore, and Chennai.
The video series on the campaign will be released twice every week from 2 October leading up to the 18 October preliminary election.
If you are a youth from 18 to 25 years old, you can send us your questions or issues related to the 2016 election that you would like to be discussed in the series and we will feature it. Send your emails to Ms. Sonam Dolkar at firstname.lastname@example.org.
